The Perfect Host or Hostess Gift
The holiday season is in full swing... which means that now more than ever, it pays to be organized and prepared.
I love to stock up on gifts early. In fact, I shop all year long. Whenever I see something special I don't hesitate to buy it and stash it away. It's well worth it to know that I won't have deal with a mad dash to the finish come December.
Of course, a little 'something special' does not need to be expensive, but a gift should definitely always be heartfelt.
When it comes to host and hostess gifts, I prefer not to default to the standard bottle of wine. Instead, I opt for gifts a bit more unexpected and if possible, specific to the host's or hostess's interests or tastes.
I actually have a closet dedicated to gifts, right down to the wrapping paper, bows and cards all ready to go. I try to pre-wrap a gift or two so that I am always prepared for those last-minute invites.
One of my favorite gifts to give is a beautiful scented candle. This fabulous set has four candles and comes in a gorgeous box.
For a unique twist on the candle gift, I also love Michael Aram's take on the candle snuffer. He always designs such beautiful pieces!
Anyone who loves to entertain will appreciate having a beautiful tray handy. It makes taking care of their guests so much easier - not to mention more chic!
For the busy executive or anyone who loves to journal these leather covered, monogrammed journals with lined pages are perfection.
If your host is among those sporting an oh-so-trendy beard, check out this luxurious beard trimming and grooming kit. He'll love it!
For the music loving host, how about these Stelle Audio Pillar Speakers? They don't just look modern and cool; they also have all the bells and whistles - Bluetooth, 360 degree sound, Alexa voice interaction and so much more!
This little book will ensure your host is never short on the right thing to say.
Which one of these would you most like to receive? I know it's hard to choose, but I think I would go for the Stelle Audio Speaker. After all, I never said I didn't occasionally stash a little something away in that gift closet for myself!
