Liza Walczak, Allied Member ASID, has been principal and owner of Liza Jane Interiors since 1996. Liza works primarily in high-end custom residential design. Her projects have ranged from contemporary art-filled residences to eclectic interiors that combine objects and aesthetic influences from all over the world. Although the firm is primarily noted for residential designs, commercial projects have included Madison Wealth Management’s corporate offices in Cincinnati, OH and C3 Computer Club in Ashburn, Va. Liza Jane works with craftsmen and artists designing cabinetry, lighting, upholstery, custom interior finishes and murals. In addition to "partnering" with her clients, Liza teams with architects, contractors, lighting designers, landscape architects, audio-video designers and other specialists to create a cohesive environment leading to on-time and on-budget projects that exceed client expectations. Liza is personally involved with every phase of the design process, from evaluation through installation, which allows her to be fully responsible for every aspect of the project. Liza Jane has recently added Sustainable or “Green” Design to her list of services. She offers a full line of environmentally friendly products and materials that have a healthy impact on her clients as well as the planet. Liza has been featured on Home and Garden Television (HGTV) and written up in USA Today and numerous Washington, DC, Philadelphia, and Indianapolis newspapers. She has participated in many charity events, including the 2000 Washington National Symphony Orchestra Decorator Showhouse, the 2005 Loudoun Arts Council Decorator Showhouse, and the 2006 DC Bark Ball, benefiting the Washington Humane Society. Most recently, Ms. Walczak donated her time to benefit National Hospice. |
